Rhino Lodge

This lodge is located a few hundred metres from the crater rim. Although it does not overlook the caldera the lodge does have great views of montane forest. Friendly local staff who are quick with a smile provide a lovely welcoming environment. The meals offered are inspired by traditional African cuisine. The lodge also includes a bar/dining room which is a great meeting point to socialise with other guests. This area has two large fires which give it a cosy atmosphere. Due to the altitude it can be bit chilly so each ensuite room also has a wood-burning stove. Although the lodge does not have a constant 24-hour supply of electricity, generators provide electricity during mornings and evenings.
