The lodge gets its name from Lake Ndutu which is located close to the lodge. Situated in Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the edge of the Southern Serengeti plains, the lodge is in an ideal location for viewing wildlife. All the buildings are built from natural materials that blend in seamlessly with the natural environment. The lodge is characterised by stone and thatch en-suite cottages which have their own private verandas. Each room has an en- suite bathroom with hot showers, sink and flushing toilet. A main mess area, dining and bar area are at the heart of the lodge. A campfire adds a nice touch to the relaxing evenings.
